ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Sn(3)(CH(3))(6)S(3)], contains two molecules with twist-boat conformations. There are intermolecular S?H (2.929?Å), S?S (3.433?Å), S?C (3.465?Å) and C?H (2.898?Å) inter-actions in addition to prominent intermolecular Sn?S inter-actions of 3.692 and 3.769?Å.

Project description:The title compound, C21H33N3O3, is a tri-substituted cyclo-hex-yloxy triazine. In the crystal, the triazine rings form (C3i-PU) Piedfort units. The inter-centroid distance of the π-π inter-action involving the triazine rings is 3.3914 (10) Å. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming ribbons propagating along [1-10]. There are also weak C-H⋯N and C-H⋯O contacts present, linking inversion-related ribbons, forming a three-dimensional structure.

Project description:The three cyclo-hexenone rings of the title compound, C27H33N3O6, adopt slightly distorted envelope conformations, with the C atom bearing two methyl groups as the flap atom in each case. These cyclo-hexenone mean planes form dihedral angles of 87.41?(11), 70.73?(11) and 70.47?(11)° with the 1,3,5-triazine ring, while the dihedral angle between the cyclo-hexenone mean planes are 57.52?(12), 23.75?(12) and 53.21?(12)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via C-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.

Project description:In the organic/inorganic salt hydrate, 6C7H9ClN(+)·P6O18 (6-)·2H2O, the cyclo-hexa-phosphate anion resides on an inversion centre. The asymmetric unit consists of three cations, one half-anion and a water mol-ecule. In the crystal, the water mol-ecules and the [P6O18](6-) anions are linked by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, generating infinite layers parallel to the ab plane. These layers are inter-connected by the organic cations through N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Project description:The crystal structure of the title compound, (C(6)H(11)N(2))(3)[EuBr(6)], consists of 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium cations and centrosymmetric octa-hedral hexa-bromido-europate anions. The [EuBr(6)](3-) anions are located at the corners and face-centres of the monoclinic unit cell. Characteristic hydrogen-bonding inter-actions can be observed between the bromide anions and the acidic H atoms of the imidazolium cations.

Project description:The title compound, Li2[Sn(OH)6]·2H2O, is dimorphic. As for the previously described ?-modification, the title ?-modification crystallizes in the monoclinic system and contains the same primary building units, viz [Sn(OH)6](2-) octa-hedra and [Li(?2-OH)3(H2O)] tetra-hedra. In contrast to the Sn-O bond lengths that are very similar in both modifications, the Li-O bond lengths differ significantly, in particular those involving the water mol-ecule. In the new ?-modification, the primary building units are linked into layers parallel to (010). The [Sn(OH)6](2-) octa-hedra (-1 symmetry) form hexa-gonal nets and the [Li(?2-OH)3(H2O)] tetra-hedra are situated in between, with their apices in an alternating fashion up and down. O-H?O hydrogen bonds between OH groups and water mol-ecules exist within the layers as well as between them.

Project description:The 2-hy-droxy-cyclo-hexane-1,3,5-triaminium (= H(3)L(3+)) cation of the title compound, 3C(6)H(18)N(3)O(3+)·8Cl(-)·HSO(4) (-)·2H(2)O, exhibits a cyclo-hexane chair with three equatorial ammonium groups and one axial hy-droxy group in an all-cis configuration. The hydrogen sulfate anion and two water mol-ecules lie on or in proximity to a threefold axis and are disordered. The crystal structure features N-H?Cl and O-H?Cl hydrogen bonds. Three C(3)-symmetric motifs can be identified in the structure: (i) Two chloride ions (on the C(3)-axis) together with three H(3)L(3+) cations constitute an [(H(3)L)(3)Cl(2)](7+) cage. (ii) The lipophilic C(6)H(6)-sides of three H(3)L(3+) cations, which are oriented directly towards the C(3)-axis, generate a lipophilic void. The void is filled with the disordered water mol-ecules and with the disordered part of the hydrogen sulfate ion. The hydrogen atoms of these disordered moieties were not located. (iii) Three H(3)L(3+) cations together with one HSO(4) (-) and three Cl(-) counter-ions form an [(HSO(4))(H(3)L)(3)Cl(3)](5+) cage. Looking along the C(3)-axis, these three motifs are arranged in the order (cage 1)?(lipophilic void)?(cage 2). The crystal studied was found to be a racemic twin.

Project description:In the title hydrated mol-ecular salt, 2C(4)H(16)N(3) (3+)·P(6)O(18) (6-)·2H(2)O, the complete cyclo-hexa-phosphate anion is generated by crystallographic inversion symmetry. The six P atoms of the P(6)O(18) (6-) anion form a chair conformation and the organic cation has a corrugated linear geometry. In the crystal, the cations and the anions are connected by N-H?O hydrogen bonds into slabs propagating in the ac plane. The water mol-ecules link the slabs by accepting N-H?O links and forming O-H?O links. The triclinic polymorph was reported by Gharbi et al. [(1995). J. Solid State Chem.114, 42-51].

Project description:The title compound, (C(3)H(7)N(6))(4)[Ca(C(7)H(3)NO(4))(3)]·6H(2)O or (tataH)(4)[Ca(pydc)(3)]·6H(2)O (where tata is 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazine and pydcH(2) is pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid), was obtained by reaction of Ca(NO(3))(2)·4H(2)O with the proton-transfer compound (tataH)(2)(pydc) in aqueous solution. The [Ca(pydc)(3)](4-) anion has twofold crystallographic symmetry. It is a nine-coordinate Ca(II) complex with a distorted tricapped trigonal-prismatic coordination geometry. The structure also contains four tataH(+) cations and six uncoordinated water mol-ecules. There are extensive O-H⋯O, O-H⋯N, N-H⋯O, N-H⋯N and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds in the crystal structure.
