Ethyl 4'-ethenyl-2'-oxo-4-phenyl-2-(3,4,5-trimethoxy-phen-yl)spiro-[pyrrolidine-3,3'-indoline]-5-carboxyl-ate monohydrate.


ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(31)H(32)N(2)O(6)·H(2)O, the pyrrolidine ring adopts an envelope conformation. The ethyl C atoms of the ethoxy-cabonyl group are disordered over two positions with occupancies of ca 0.80 and 0.20. Intra-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bonds form S(5) and S(6) ring motifs. Mol-ecules are linked into a three-dimensional framework by O-H?O, N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds, and by C-H?? inter-actions.
