ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(20)H(36)O(6)S(4), was obtained by ethanethiol-ysis of 3,5,6-tri-O-acetyl-1,2-O-isopropyl-idene-?-d-gluco-furan--ose. One of the ethyl groups is disordered over two sites with refined occupancies of 0.869?(6) and 0.131?(6). Compared with the precursor, the absolute configuration of the stereocenters at positions C-3 and C-2 are inverted and maintained, respectively.

Project description:In the title compound, C16H17NO3S2, the dihedral angles between the O/C/C/S group and the 2H-chromene ring system and the thio-carbamate group are 14.46?(9) and 83.30?(9)°, respectively. The bond-angle sum at the N atom is 360.0°. One of the methyl C atoms lies above the thio-carbamate plane and one lies below it [deviations = 1.264?(3) and -1.147?(3)?Å, respectively]. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of C-H?O hydrogen bonds generate R 2 (2)(10) loops. Weak aromatic ?-? stacking inter-actions [shortest centroid-centroid distance = 3.8138?(11)?Å] are also observed.

Project description:The Sn(IV) atom in the title diorganotin dithio-carbamate, [Sn(C(4)H(9))(2)Cl(C(10)H(12)NS(2))], is penta-coordinated by an asymmetrically coordinating dithio-carbamate ligand, a Cl and two C atoms of the Sn-bound tert-butyl groups. The resulting C(2)ClS(2) donor set defines a coordination geometry inter-mediate between square pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal with a slight tendency towards the former. In the crystal structure, C-H⋯π contacts link centrosymmetrically related mol-ecules into dimeric aggregates.

Project description:The title compound, C16H16N2, was synthesized by dispersing 3,4-hexa-nedione in a methanol-water solution containing the acid catalyst NH4HF2, then adding 1,2-di-aminona-phthalene. The fused-ring system of the title compound is close to planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.028 Å); one of the pendant methyl C atoms lies close to the ring plane [deviation = 0.071 (2) Å; N-C-C-C = -0.27 (18)°] whereas the other is significantly displaced [-1.7136 (18) Å; 91.64 (16)°]. The mol-ecules pack in space group I in a distinctive criss-cross motif supported by numerous aromatic π-π stacking inter-actions [shortest centroid-centroid separation = 3.5805 (6) Å].

Project description:The title compound, [Sn(C(4)H(9))(2)(C(9)H(10)NS(2))(2)], features a tetra-hedrally coordinated Sn(IV) atom; the dithio-carbamate ligands coordinate in a monodentate fashion, accompanied by two n-butyl chains. The non-coordinating thione S atoms are each proximate to the Sn(IV) atom [3.0136 (7) and 2.9865 (8) Å], giving rise to distortions from the ideal geometry as evident in the wide C-Sn-C bond angle of 139.06 (12) °. In the crystal, C-H⋯S inter-actions lead to the formation of a linear supra-molecular chain along the b axis. The chains are aligned into layers by C-H⋯π inter-actions, and the layers stack along [001]. One of the ethyl groups is statistically disordered over two sets of sites.

The N- and O-donor atoms are mutually cis. The dihedral angle between two naphthalene systems of the L(2-) ligand is 67.59?(4)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H?O and C-H?? inter-actions, which link neighbouring mol-ecules into extended chains along the b axis.
