ABSTRACT: In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(20)H(23)NO(3), the bulky methoxy-phenyl substituents at the equatorial 2,6-positions crowd the vicinity of the equatorial amino H atom and prevent it from forming inter-molecular hydrogen bonds. The piperidine ring adopts a distorted chair conformation.
