ABSTRACT: There are two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(10)H(12)O(3). In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by O-H?O hydrogen bonds into chains running along [010]. Adjacent chains are joined together by weak ?-? inter-actions between benzene rings [centroid-centroid distance = 4.040?(2)?Å].
