The present study screened riboflavin mimicking small molecules to determine their binding activity for the riboflavin binding protein. We performed thermodynamic and kinetic binding studies of these molecules using a combination of two analytical approaches; isothermal titration calorimetry and surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy.
