ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(27)H(30)N(2)O(2), comprises two independent mol-ecules. The dihedral angles between the phenyl rings in the two mol-ecules are 55.59?(8) and 55.39?(8)°. The piperidine rings adopt chair conformations. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H?O and C-H?N hydrogen bonds. The crystal studied was a non-merohedral twin with a domian ratio of 0.75?(2):0.25?(2).
