ABSTRACT: Dayao pengzhongigen. et sp. n. is described and illustrated based on the material collected in Guangxi Province, South China. The genus is placed in the oriental 'Pselaphodescomplex' of genera of the subtribe Tyrina and its taxonomic placement is discussed.
