ABSTRACT: In the title iron(II) complex, [Fe(C12H21N2Si)Cl(C6H16N2)], the Fe(II) cation is coordinated by two N atoms from the tetramethylethane-1,2-diamine ligand [Fe-N = 2.191?(5) and 2.215?(4)?Å], one N atom from the N-[(diethyl-amino)-dimethyl-sil-yl]anilide ligand [Fe-N = 1.943?(4)?Å] and a chloride ligand [Fe-Cl = 2.2798?(16)?Å] in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. The N-Si-N angle is 113.9?(3)°. The crystal packing exhibits no short inter-molecular contacts.

In the title iron(II) complex, [Fe(C12H21N2Si)Cl(C6H16N2)], the Fe(II) cation is coordinated by two N atoms from the tetramethylethane-1,2-diamine ligand [Fe-N = 2.191 (5) and 2.215 (4) Å], one N atom from the N-[(diethyl-amino)-dimethyl-sil-yl]anilide ligand [Fe-N = 1.943 (4) Å] and a chloride ligand [Fe-Cl = 2.2798 (16) Å] in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. Project description:In the title salt, [Zn(2)(C(2)H(8)N(2))(5)](ClO(4))(4), an ethyl-enediamine mol-ecule bridges two bis-(ethyl-enediamine)-zinc units; the five-coordinate Zn atoms show a trigonal-bipyramidal coordination geometry that is distorted towards square-pyramidal (that of one Zn atom is distorted by 12% and that of the other by 34%). The perchlorate ions are all disordered over two positions in a 1:1 ratio. The cation inter-acts weakly with the anion by N-H?O hydrogen bonds, generating a three-dimensional network.

Project description:The title compound, C(34)H(40)N(2)O(4)·2C(3)H(7)NO, was synthesized by the Mannich condensation of ethane-diamine, formaldehyde and p-cresol. In the crystal, the tetra-phenol mol-ecule is arranged around an inversion center. The mol-ecule and the dimethyl-formamide solvate are linked through an O-H?O hydrogen bond. An intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bond occurs in the tetra-phenol mol-ecule, which may influence the mol-ecular confomation. Futhermore, C-H?O and ?-? stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.7081?(14)?Å] stabilize the crystal packing, building a three-dimensional network.

Project description:In the monomeric title titanium(III) compound, [Ti(C(12)H(21)N(2)Si)(2)Cl], the metal atom is surrounded by two N-silylated anilide ligands in an N,N''-chelating mode. The two ends of the N-Si-N chelating unit exhibit different affinity to the metal center. The Ti-N(amine) bond is longer than the Ti-N(anilide) bond by about 0.29?Å. The two ligands are arranged trans to each other and the mol-ecule demonstrates a pseudo-twofold rotation along the axis of the Ti-Cl bond. The five-coordinate Ti atom demonstrates a highly distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry.
