ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C14H17NO3, the nine-membered 1H-indole ring system is essentially planar [maximum deviation = 0.019?(1)?Å]. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via N-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [001]. These chains are linked via C-H?O hydrogen bonds and C-H?? inter-actions, forming a two-dimensional network lying parallel to the ac plane.
