(Z)-3-(1-Chloro-prop-1-en-yl)-2-methyl-1-phenyl-sulfonyl-1H-indole.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C18H16ClNO2S, the indole ring system forms a dihedral angle of 75.07?(8)° with the phenyl ring. The mol-ecular structure is stabilized by a weak intra-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by weak C-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a chain along [10-1]. C-H?? inter-actions are also observed, leading to a three-dimensional network.
