Differential Effects of Teriparatide and Denosumab on Intact PTH and Bone Formation Indices: AVA Osteoporosis Study.


ABSTRACT: We compared effects of teriparatide and denosumab on PTH, bone turnover markers, and bone histomorphometry in osteoporotic postmenopausal women. The findings were inconsistent with an early indirect anabolic effect of denosumab.
