Sphingolipid (SL) metabolites have been suggested to be important inflammatory mediators in airway inflammation and asthma. However, little is known about SL metabolites in aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD). We aimed to explore the potential AERD biomarkers by conducting lipidomics targeting SL metabolites.
