Ring 1 and YY1 binding protein (RYBP) was first identified in 1999, and its structure includes a conserved Npl4 Zinc finger motif at the N-terminus, a central region that is characteristically enriched with arginine and lysine residues and a C-terminal region enriched with serine and threonine amino acids.
