The most frequently notified pathogenic microorganisms in the RASFF in 1980⁻2017 were <i>Salmonella</i> sp., <i>Listeria</i>, <i>Escherichia</i> and <i>Vibrio</i>, whereas, among the notified non-pathogenic microorganisms were unspecified microorganisms, Enterobacteriaceae, <i>Salmonella</i> sp. and Coliforms.
