Apicomplexan parasites include the causative agents of malaria and toxoplasmosis. Cell-based screens in <i>Toxoplasma</i> previously identified a chemical modulator of calcium signaling (ENH1) that blocked parasite egress from host cells and exhibited potent antiparasitic activity.
