In this research, we assessed the detergency properties along with chemical characteristic of the surfactant extracts from the most frequently cited detergent plants in Northern Thailand, namely, <i>Sapindus rarak</i>, <i>Acacia concinna</i>, and <i>Litsea glutinosa</i>.
