Processivity is an important feature of enzyme families such as DNA polymerases, polysaccharide synthases, and protein kinases, to ensure high fidelity in biopolymer synthesis and modification. Here, we reveal processive character in the family of cytoplasmic protein <i>N</i>-glycosyltransferases (NGTs).
