Early-activated CD8<sup>+</sup> T cells increase both aerobic glycolysis and mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS). However, whether and how the augmentation of OXPHOS regulates differentiation of effector CD8<sup>+</sup> T cell remains unclear.
