ABSTRACT: There are two independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(15)H(6)Cl(2)N(2)O(2). The conjugated four-ring system is essentially planar in each mol-ecule [maximum deviation = 0.089?(2)?Å]. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular C-H?Cl, C-H?O and C-H?·N inter-actions help to stabilize the packing.
