ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [UO2(C5H7O2)2(C14H15N)], the uran-yl(VI) unit ([O=U=O](2+)) is coordinated to two acetyl-acetonate (acac) anions and one 1-phenyl-3-(pyridin-4-yl)propane (ppp) mol-ecule. The geometry around the U atom is UNO6 penta-gonal-bipyramidal; two uran-yl(VI) O atoms are located at the axial positions, whereas four O atoms from two chelating bidentate acac ligands and one N atom of a ppp ligand form the equatorial plane.

It exhibits a UO(7) penta-gonal-bipyramidal coordination geometry about the U(VI) atom, involving two bidentate acetyl-acetonate ions and one water mol-ecule. The N atoms of the pyrazine mol-ecules are not coordinated to the U(VI) atom, and are connected with the aqua O atom by hydrogen bonds. This results in a zigzag chain arrangement along the [10] direction.

Project description:The title cyclo-metalated platinum(II) complex with 2-(4-bromo-phen-yl)pyridinato and acetyl-acetonato ligands, [Pt(C11H7BrN)(C5H7O2)], consists of two crystallographically non-equivalent dimers, each stacked by ?-? inter-actions with distances of ? 3.4?Å. In both dimers, the platinum(II) complexes are arranged anti-parallel to each other. Each complex exhibits a slightly distorted square-planar coordination environment around the central Pt(II) atom. The dihedral angles between two chelate rings including the Pt(II) atom in these complexes are 0.08?(12) and 1.54?(9)°.

Project description:The title compound, [UO2(acac)2(H2O)] consists of a uran-yl(VI) unit ([O=U=O]2+) coordinated to two monoanionic acetyl-acetonate (acac, C5H7O2) ligands and one water mol-ecule. The asymmetric unit includes a one-half of a uranium atom, one oxido ion, one-half of a water mol-ecule and one acac ligand. The coordination about the uranium atom is distorted penta-gonal-bipyramidal. The acac ligands and Ow atom comprise the equatorial plane, while the uranyl O atoms occupy the axial positions. Inter-molecular hydrogen bonding between complexes results in the formation of two-dimensional hexa-gonal void channels along the c-axis direction with a diameter of 6.7 Å. The monoclinic (P21/c space group) polymorph was reported by Alcock & Flanders [(1987). Acta Cryst. C43, 1480-1483].

The two K(+) ions lie on crystallographic inversion centers. The Eu-O bond distances are in the range 2.294?(5)-2.413?(5)?Å. Project description:The title mol-ecule, [Ir(C14H14FN2O)2(C5H7O2)], is located on a twofold rotation axis, which passes through the Ir(III) atom and the central C atom of the pentane-2,4-dionate anion. The Ir(III) atom adopts a distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry, being C,N-chelated by two 2-tert-but-oxy-6-fluoro-3-(pyridin-2-yl)pyridin-4-yl ligands and O,O'-chelated by the pentane-2,4-dionato ligand. The bipyridinate ligands, which are perpendicular to each other [dihedral angle between the two least-squares planes = 89.95?(5)°], are arranged in a cis-C,C' and trans-N,N' fashion relative to the central metal cation. Intra-molecular C-H?O and C-H?N hydrogen bonds and inter-molecular C-H?F hydrogen bonds as well as ?-? inter-actions between neighbouring pyridine rings [centroid-centroid distance 3.680?(1)?Å] contribute to the stabilization of the mol-ecular and crystal structure, respectively.

Project description:The title complex, [Co(2)(C(5)HF(6)O(2))(2)(C(5)H(7)O(2))(2)(H(2)O)(2)], is centrosymmetric with a crystallographic inversion center in the middle of the mol-ecule. The octa-hedrally coordinated Co(II) atoms are bridged by two chelating acetyl-acetonate (acac) ligands and two more electron-poor 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexa-fluoro-pentane-2,4-dionato (hfac) ligands are bonded terminally in a solely chelating manner. The coordinated water mol-ecules form inter-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bonds with electron-rich acac O atoms of neighboring mol-ecules, leading to strings of mol-ecules along the a axis.
