Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Colorectal Cancer That Has Spread to the Liver


ABSTRACT: RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Giving drugs in different ways may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of liver perfusion using oxaliplatin plus leucovorin and fluorouracil given by infusion in treating patients who have colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver.
