Effect of a new light and contrast mechanism on the detection of lesions in Endoscopic examination of the colon in Cancer screening procedures
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Interventions: 200 patients will undergo diagnostic colonoscopy, prior to the examination all patients must ingest 1 liter of 10% mannitol solution on the day of the examination, preceded by a day with a diet of clear liquids without fibers, for intestinal cleaning.
Patients will be randomized to one of the following groups: (White light image-WLI, blue light-BLI-bright, and Linked color Imaging-LCI).
We will compare the ability to detect lesions in the intestine between these different types of light and image in each group.;Other;E01.370.372.250.250.200
Primary outcome(s): Evaluate the percentage increase in the detection rate of colorectal adenomas using colonoscopy with Linked Color Imaging as a method
Study Design: Diagnostic clinical trial, randomized-controlled, parallel, blind, with three arms
DISEASE(S): Polyp Of Colon,Benign Neoplasm Of Colon, Rectum, Anal Canal And Anus,Malignant Neoplasm Of Colon
