Generation and characterization of phosphosite mutants in S. cerevisiae
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The functional relevance of phosphosites currently lacks a systematic assessment. Here a large number of S. cerevisiae phosphosites are mutated to alanine and its impact on cellular fitness is measured. Gene expression changes between strains harbouring the mutated phosphosites is compared against the wild type and the corresponding gene deletion.
