Exercise reverses dysregulation of T cell-related function in blood leukocytes of patients with PD
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a common neurodegenerative disease with movement and balance impairments. It has been shown that physical exercise could ameliorate balance impairments and improve life quality of PD patients. However, the related mechanisms of benefit of exercise are still poorly understood, especially in the peripheral immune system. The present study aimed to utilize sensitive high-throughput transcriptome analyses to investigate potentially favorable effects of physical exercise in leukocytes.
