TET2 regulates tRNA fragment generation by RNA hydroxymethyl modification
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Using CLIP-seq, hm5C RIP-seq, and small RNA-seq, we show that TET2 binds to tRNAs in mouse embryonic stem cells at sites enriched for hm5C. Loss of TET2 causes decreased hm5C on tRNAs and abrogation of all TET activity led to changes in 5' and 3' tRNA fragments.
