Glycosyltransferase ST6Gal-I promotes the epithelial to mesenchymal transition in pancreatic cancer cells

ABSTRACT: RNA-Seq results suggested that epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) -related pathways were upregulated in the metastatic subclones. Furthermore, forced expression of ST6Gal-I in the parental Suit2 line was sufficient to upregulate EMT, indicating a functional role for ST6Gal-I in this process.
