EIF5A2 specifically regulates the transcription of aging‑related genes in neuroblastoma cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In the present study, EIF5A2 overexpression of SH-SY5Y cell model was developed. RNA-seq and RT-qPCR experiments were then performed to explore the molecular mechanism of EIF5A2-mediated transcriptional regulation. Upon EIF5A2 overexpression, genes closely related to unfolded protein response were downregulated. Transcription factors associated with aging, such as ATF4, ATF3 and BHLHE40, were negatively correlated with EIF5A2, which was shown in the EIF5A2 overexpression human neuroblastoma cells in vitro and further verified via the published database of human glial cell tissue.
