Comparison of the transcriptome analysis of Tom[Low] and Tom[High] AT2 subpopulations in mice

ABSTRACT: Transgenic mice in two control (SftpCreERT2/+; Tomatoflox/flox) and Experimental (SftpCreERT2/+; Fgfr2bflox/flox; Tomatoflox/flox) groups were treated with tamoxifen (1mg/ml) in drinking water. The lungs were harvested at different time points (d4,d7 and d14) following tamoxifen treatment. RNA was isolated from AT2 cells sorted by FACS. FACS analysis showed two different Alveolar epithelial type 2 cells population with low and high RFP levels. RFP low and high populations showed different fgfr2b signaling gene expression in experimental versus control groups. The aim of the gene array experiment is to compare RFP low and high populations transcriptome. Moreover, we aim to analyze FGf10/fgfr2b, AT1 and AT2 and Wnt signiture and obtain KEGG- Pathways targeted.
