Population and molecular responses to warming in Netzelia tuberspinifera – An endemic and sensitive protist from East Asia

ABSTRACT: In this study, we measured growth rate of Netzelia tuberspinifera(basionym Difflugia tuberspinifera) under different temperatures and revealed the molecular mechanisms of temperature adaptation based on the transcriptomics along a temperature gradient (15, 25 and 35 °C). This study can provide a reference for in-depth study on testate amoebae in future researches.
