ACGH from cells derived from adult individuals with acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Chromosomal instability is a characteristic of cancer, in acute lymphoblastic leukemia, several genes with aberrations have been reported that are currently used as diagnostic tools, prognostics and are even part of the treatment. The CGH microarrays performed in ten adult individuals with ALL, and the JURKAT and CEM cell lines, show that there are regions of shared loss on chromosomes 2, 9 and 14 and of gain on chromosomes 13 and 17 that are maintained in more than five of the samples.
