RNA-sequencing (RNAseq) of human small airway epithelial cells treated with neutrophil extracellular traps
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Previous studies have shown that NETs expression levels are increased in patients or mouse models of several airway diseases, such as asthma, COPD, and cystic fibrosis. However, little is known about the effects of NETs on airway epithelial cells. In this study, we used transcriptome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis to investigate the role of NETs in small airway epithelial cells. This study advances our understanding of the effects of NETs on airway epithelial cells and provides valuable insights into the pathogenesis of airway diseases. Our findings may contribute to the development of new therapeutic strategies for airway diseases.
