Transcriptomics of pig vascular endothelial cells by D-malate treatment

ABSTRACT: By transcriptomics analysis, we identified that the mechanism underlying the effects of D-malate is dependent on the elevated intra-cellular acetyl-CoA content and increased Cyclin A acetylation. This finding revealed a novel mechanism, by which gut microbes impair muscle angiogenesis, and may provide therapeutic target for skeletal muscle function and other vascular associated diseases, such as cancer or aging.
