SUMOylation fine-tunes the transcriptional activity of endothelial HEY1 in the regulation of angiogenesis [HUVEC RNA-seq]
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Previous studies have shown that HEY1 is a major downstream transducer of NOTCH signaling and transcriptionally represses VEGFR2. We aimed to investigate whether SUMOylation is critical for HEY1-mediated transcriptional regulation of angiogenesis in endothelial cells. To address this question, we performed RNA-seq to assess the repressive landscape of HEY1-WT and HEY1-3KR.
