Expression profiling by microarray in breast cancer cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Dysregulation of LINCRNAs is closely associated with various cancer types, including breast cancer. Breast cancer stem cells (BCSCs) were characterized by unlimited self-renewal/repopulating potential and contribute to the initiation and progression of the disease, as well as to treatment failure and recurrence of BRCA. To identify the LINCRNAs involved in the maintenance of BCSCs properties, we performed genome-wide microarray on MCF-7 MS along with its parental MCF-7 cells. We identified that LINC00887 is significantly upregulated in BCSCs and serves as a key regulator of BRCA stemness.
