ABSTRACT: This study investigates the impact of splenectomy on the cardiac immune cell landscape post-I/R injury. We performed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) on CD45+ immune cells isolated from mouse hearts 24 hours after I/R injury in both splenectomized and sham-operated (control) mice.
