Project description:Determining immediate-early response genes to FGF18 treatment. Cells treated for 2 h vs non-treated cells. Three biological replicates.
Project description:Analysis of Immediate Early Response 2 (Ier2)-inducible NIH 3T3 cells after Ier2 induction with RheoSwitch ligand RSL-1. Results provide insight into the function of Ier2 in NIH 3T3 mouse embryonal fibroblasts. Immediate early genes, including Ier2, are rapidly induced in quiescent cells by proliferation and migration-inducing stimuli. Microarray gene expression profiling was performed to identify differentially expressed genes following overexpression of Ier2 in NIH 3T3-Ier2 inducible cells after 24 hour induction of Ier2.
Project description:Zebrafish embryo animal cap explants were differentiated by injection of vhnf1 mRNA into the one-cell stage embryo, and treatment of excised explants with applied FGF8 protein. To identify unique targets of the combination of vhnf1+FGF8, each factor was applied alone and in combination, and differences in gene expression used to identify unique targets of vhnf1+FGF8.
Project description:We set out to look for genome wide gene expression changes due to deficiency of Fgf8 in the lung. RNA from 3 lungs from each genotype (mutant and littermate wild type control) are pooled for each cDNA synthesis and hybridized to individual array for a quadruple biologic repeat of the experiment
