Coral larvae of A. gemmifera in responses to elevated CO2
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Acidified seawater not only resulted in the less settlement of A. gemmifera embryos, but also decreased juvenile sizes and slowed the development of skeleton. The solute carriers (SLC) (membrane transport proteins) responsible for the calcium and bicarbonate transports were downregulated due to elevated CO2.
ORGANISM(S): Acropora gemmifera
