We report a structural and functional proteomics characterization of venoms of the two subspecies (<i>Bothrops bilineatus</i><i>bilineatus</i> and <i>B. b. smaragdinus</i>) of the South American palm pit viper from the Brazilian state of Rondônia and <i>B. b. smaragdinus</i> from Perú.
