Quantitative phosphoproteomic analysis


ABSTRACT: To understand how Mek regulates pluripotency maintenance and post-transcriptional RNA processing, stable isotope labeling by amino acids in cell culture (SILAC) coupled with phosphopeptide enrichment and quantitative mass spectrometric analysis was applied to identify proteins whose phosphorylation levels are increased by constitutively active Mek1 (caMek1).
