Anaplasma phagocytophilum is a gram-negative obligate intracellular bacterium that persists within neutrophils. We assessed the impact of A. phagocytophilum infection in NB4 promyelocytic leukemic cells using high-density oligoarray, two-dimensional differential gel electrophoresis and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
