ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Fe(C(5)H(5))(C(8)H(13)N)]Br, is isotypic with the analogous chloride compound. The Fe-C bond lengths are in the range 2.020?(6)-2.048?(7)?Å. In the crystal, the cations and bromide anions are connected by N(+)-H?Br(-) hydrogen bonds.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title complex, [Fe(C(5)H(5))(C(11)H(17)N)]ClO(4), contains two independent all-yl(ferro-cenyl-meth-yl)dimethyl-ammonium cations and two ClO(4) (-) anions. The anions are disordered each over two sets of sites, with an occupancy ratio of 0.617?(6):0.383?(6). The distances from the Fe atoms to the centroids of the unsubstituted and substituted cyclo-penta-dienyl (Cp) rings are 1.645?(1)/1.657?(1) and 1.644?(1)/1.647?(1)?Å. The distances from the Fe atom to the centroids of the unsubstituted and substituted cyclo-penta-dienyl (Cp) rings are 1.650 (1) and 1.640 (1) Å, respectively. The Cp rings form a dihedral angle of 2.66 (3)°.

Project description:The crystal structure of the title salt, [Fe(C5H5)(C8H13N)](HC2O4), consists of discrete (ferrocenylmeth-yl)di-methyl-ammonium cations and hydrogen oxalate anions. The anions are connected through a strong O-H⋯O hydrogen bond, forming linear chains running parallel to [100]. The cations are linked to the anions through bifurcated N-H⋯(O,O') hydrogen bonds. Weak C-H⋯π inter-actions between neighbouring ferrocenyl moieties are also observed.

Project description:In the title hydrated molecular salt, C(12)H(19)N(2)Se(+)·Br(-)·H(2)O, the two independent bromide anions lie on a twofold rotation axis. Strong intra-molecular N→Se inter-actions [2.185 (3) and 2.181 (3) Å] are established by both N atoms of the organic group in the cation, in trans positions to each other, with an N-Se-N angle of 161.6 (1)°, resulting in a T-shaped (C,N,N')Se core. In the crystal, dimeric associations are formed by Br⋯Se [3.662 (2) Å] and Br⋯H inter-actions [2.56 (6) and 2.63 (7) Å] involving two bromide anions, two cations and two water mol-ecules.

Project description:The title salt, C(4)H(10)Br(2)N(+)·Br(-), crystallizes with four cations and four anions in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, the bis-(2-bromo-eth-yl)ammonium cations and bromide anions are linked into chains by N-H?Br hydrogen bonds describing a binary C(2) (1)(4) motif along [010]. Each of these chains is formed by a unique cation and anion pair. The ammonium cations occur in the less preferred anti conformation, characterized by different NCCBr torsion angles. Adjacent chains are linked by weak C-H?Br inter-actions, forming a three-dimensional network. The crystal studied was a pseudo-merohedral twin with twin ratio 0.640?(2):0.360?(2).

It is built up by association of (2-(diphenyl-phosphino)ferrocen-yl)meth-yl)dimethyl-ammonium cations and diphenyl-phosphino dithio-ate anions. N-H?S, C-H?S and C-H?? inter-actions link the anions and cations. Each anion-cation pair is linked two by two through C-H?? inter-actions, forming pseudo dimers.
