The metal atom lies on a special position of site symmetry. One of the nitrate ions lies on a special position of 3 site symmetry and the other independent ion is disordered about a special position of site symmetry.

The coordination polyhedron around the Tl(III) atom is octa-hedral, defined by six O atoms of the DMSO mol-ecules. In the crystal structure, C-H?O hydrogen bonds are observed. One of the nitrate groups exhibits half-occupation.

Project description:The title compound, [CoH(C(18)H(15)P)(2)(C(2)H(6)OS)(2)], was synthesized by the reaction of chloridotris(triphenyl-phosphane)cobalt(I), [ClCo(PPh(3))(3)], in the presence of one equivalent potassium hydridotris(pyrazol-yl)borate in dimethyl sulfoxide. The structure displays a distorted trigonal-pyramidally coordinated cobalt(I) atom, with two phosphane ligands and one DMSO ligand in the equatorial plane. The coordination is completed by one further DMSO ligand and the anionic hydride in the axial positions.

Project description:The title complex, [Co(C(7)H(4)NO(3)S)(2)(C(2)H(6)OS)(2)(H(2)O)(2)], contains a Co(2+) cation in an octa-hedral coordination environment. The metal atom is surrounded by two different neutral ligands, namely dimethyl-sulfoxide (DMSO) and water, each coordinating through the O atom. The anionic saccharinate (sac; 1,1,3-trioxo-2,3-dihydro-1?(6),2-benzothia-zol-2-ide) ligand coordinates through the N atom. Each of the three similar ligand pairs is in a trans configuration with respect to each other. The Co atom lies on a crystallographic center of symmetry and the octa-hedral geometry is not significantly distorted. A short O-H?O hydrogen bond is present between a water H atom and the ketone O atom; two longer hydrogen bonds (intra- and inter-molecular) are also present between a water H and a sulfonic O atom, forming a supramolecular assembly through head-to-tail aggregation between adjacent complexes.

Project description:In the title complex, [CoBr(C(4)H(7)N(2)O(2))(2)(H(2)O)], a crystallo-graphic mirror plane bis-ects the mol-ecule, perpendicular to the glyoximate ligands. The geometry around the cobalt(III) atom is approximately octa-hedral with the four glyoximate N atoms forming the square base. A bromide ion and the O atom of a water mol-ecule occupy the remaining coordination sites. The N-Co-N bite angles are 82.18?(4) and 80.03?(16)°. The glyoximate moieties form strong intra-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bonds. The coordinated water mol-ecule forms an inter-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bond with a glyoximate O atom, thereby generating supra-molecular chains parallel to [010].

Project description:The title complex, [NaRuCl(4)(C(4)H(4)N(2))(C(2)H(6)OS)(2)](n), is the sodium salt of monoanionic octa-hedral [Ru(III)Cl(4)(pyrimidine)(DMSO)](-) in which the sulfur-bound dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and pyrimidine ligand are oriented trans to one another on the Ru(III) atom. The average of the four Ru-Cl bond lengths is 2.355?(15)?Å, and the Ru-S and Ru-N bond lengths are 2.2853?(3) and 2.1165?(11)?Å, respectively. The complex forms a chain, with a six-coordinate sodium ion bridging the ruthenium(III) units. The sodium cation is coordinated by cis-chloride ligands on ruthenium [Na-Cl = 2.9576?(7) and 2.6988?(7)?Å], chloride and DMSO ligands from the ruthenium complexes related by inversion [Na-Cl and Na-O = 2.8888?(7) and 2.2623?(12)?Å, respectively], a nitro-gen ligand from the pyrimidine of the tetrachlorido-ruthenium(III) complex related by the twofold rotation axis [Na-N = 2.5224?(14)?Å] and an oxygen-bound DMSO [Na-O = 2.3165?(12)?Å].

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Co(C(3)H(4)N(2))(6)](PF(6))(3)·6H(2)O, the Co(III) atom lies on a special position with site-symmetry and the P atom is located on a special position with site symmetry . The Co(III) atom has an almost ideal octa-hedral coordination formed by the N atoms of six imidazole ligands. The water mol-ecules form hydrogen-bonded helical chains propagating in [001] by O-H?O inter-actions with a distance of 2.913?(2)?Å. They simultaneously inter-act as hydrogen-bond acceptors and donors with the cations and anions, respectively, resulting in the formation of a three-dimensional assembly. Weak C-H?F inter-actions further stabilize the crystal structure.
