The Schiff base mol-ecules are approximately planar, with r.m.s. deviations from the planes defined by the non-H atoms of 0.107 and 0.154?Å, and with dihedral angles between the benzene rings of 4.49?(15) and 8.39?(15)°, respectively. This near-planarity is assisted by the formation of intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bonds in each mol-ecule. In the crystal, the components are linked by N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonds to form chains along [010].
