ABSTRACT: The title compound, 2C(5)H(14)N(2) (2+)·P(4)O(12) (4-)·2Te(OH)(6), involves doubly protonated homopiperazinium cations, cyclo-tetra-phosphate anions and telluric acid mol-ecules. The framework possesses very large channels wherein the organic cations reside. A network of O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds consolidates the crystal packing.

Project description:In the title compound, 2C12H20N2 (2+)·2H3O(+)·P6O18 (6-)·2H2O, a protonated water mol-ecule bridges the centrosymmetrical anionic P6O18 ring via O-H?O hydrogen bonds. The centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded rings formed by four oxonium cations and four phosphate anions can be described by an R 4 (8)(36) graph-set motif. The ring motifs are connected by hydrogen bonds into inorganic layers perpendicular to [100]. The 1-(2,3-di-methyl-phen-yl)piperazine-1,4-diium cations are located between the layers, compensating their negative charge and establishing N-H?O hydrogen bonds with the O atoms of the anionic framework.

Project description:In the title compound, (C(5)H(14)N(2))[Co(H(2)O)(6)](2)(SO(4))(3), the cationic framework is built up of mixed organic-inorganic fragments, namely [Co(H(2)O)(6)](2+) and [C(5)H(14)N(2)](2+). The [Co(H(2)O)(6)](2+) cations form unconnected octa-hedra. Sulfate anions inter-calated between cationic species connect them via N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonds and electrostatic inter-actions.

In the crystal, the components are linked by O-H?F and N-H?O hydrogen bonds but there are no direct links between cations and anions.

Project description:The title compound, (C(5)H(14)N(2))[CuCl(4)], was synthesized by hydro-thermal reaction of CuCl(2) with 1-methyl-piperazine in an HCl/water solution. Both amine N atoms are protonated. The piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation. The Cu-Cl distances in the tetrahedral anion are in the range 2.2360?(7)-2.2732?(7)?Å. In the crystal, moderately strong and weak inter-molecular N-H?Cl hydrogen bonds link the anion and cation units into an infinite two-dimensional network parallel to the ab plane.

Project description:In the title compound, {(C4H12N2)2[Li2(P6O18)]·4H2O} n , the phosphate ring anion, located around an inversion center, adopts a chair conformation. Adjacent P6O18 rings are linked via corner-sharing by LiO4 tetra-hedra, generating anionic porous {[Li2(P6O18)](4-)} n layers parallel to (101). The piperazine-1,4-diium cations occupy the pores and develop hydrogen bonds with the inorganic framework. An extensive network of N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions link the components into a three-dimensional network and additional stabilization is provided by weak C-H?O hydrogen bonds.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C(4)H(12)N(2))(3)[InCl(6)](2)·4H(2)O, consists of one and half independent piperazinium cations, an hexa-chloridoindate anion and two mol-ecules of water. The In(III) ion is six-coordinated and forms a quasi-regular octa-hedral arrangement. In the crystal, alternating layers of cations and anions are arranged parallel to (10[Formula: see text]) and are linked with the water mol-ecules via intra- and inter-molecular N-H⋯O, O-H⋯Cl, C-H⋯O and N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, forming a complex three-dimensional network. Additional stabilization within the layers is provided by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯Cl inter-actions.

These layers are inter-connected by the organic cations, which establish N-H?O hydrogen bonds with the [P(6)O(18)](6-) anions.
