(N-Butyl-N-phenyl-dithio-carbamato-?S)triphenyl-tin(IV).

ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Sn(C(6)H(5))(3)(C(11)H(14)NS(2))], features a tetra-hedrally coordinated Sn atom, as the dithio-carbamate ligand coordinates in a monodentate fashion. Due to the proximity of the non-coordinating thione S atom, distortions from ideal tetra-hedral geometry about the metal atom are evident with the widest C-Sn-S angle being 117.26?(5)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H?S inter-actions, which generate helical supra-molecular chains along the b axis.
