ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(12)H(11)NO(2), the indole and methyl acrylate mean planes are inclined at an angle of 10.6 (1)°. In the crystal, N-H⋯π inter-actions link mol-ecules into chains along [010] and weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds further consolidate the crystal packing.
