ABSTRACT: The indolyl portion of the title mol-ecule, C(11)H(8)FNO(3), is flat, the five- and six-membered rings making a dihedral angle of 0.815?(6)°. Inter-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bonds link adjacent mol-ecules into a linear chain. Slipped ?-? stacking inter-actions between two neighboring indole groups further consolidate the mol-ecules into a three-dimensional supra-molecular architecture [centroid-centroid distances = 3.555?(10) and 3.569?(10)?Å].
