ABSTRACT: In the title solvated phosphonium salt, C34H40P(+)·Cl(-)·2CHCl3, the two cyclo-hexyl and two 1-naphthyl-methyl groups at the P atom are in a distorted tetra-hedral arrangement [105.26 (6)-113.35 (6)°]. Both cyclo-hexyl rings adopt a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the naphthyl ring systems is 74.08 (3)°.

Project description:The title compound, [RuCl2(?(6)-C6H6)(C12H22ClP)]·CHCl3, was prepared by reaction of [RuCl2(?(6)-C6H6)]2 with chloro-dicyclo-hexyl-phosphane in CHCl3 at 323?K under argon. The Ru(II) atom is surrounded by one arene ligand, two Cl atoms and a phosphane ligand in a piano-stool geometry. The phosphane ligand is linked by the P atom, with an Ru-P bond length of 2.3247?(4)?Å. Both cyclo-hexyl rings at the P atom adopt a chair conformation. In the crystal, the Ru(II) complex mol-ecule and the chloro-form solvent mol-ecule are linked by a bifurcated C-H?(Cl,Cl) hydrogen bond. Intra-molecular C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds are also observed.

Project description:In the title salt, [(C(6)H(11))(2)NH(2)](+)·[C(6)H(5)PO(2)(OH)](-), the anion is monodeprotonated and acts as both a hydrogen-bond donor and acceptor. The anions are linked by pairs of O-H⋯O inter-actions, forming inversion dimers with R(2) (2)(8) ring motifs. These dimers are bridged by two dicyclo-hexyl-aminium cations via pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, giving R(4) (4)(12) ring motifs, forming chains propagating along [010]. The chains are bridged by C-H⋯O inter-actions, forming a two-dimensional network lying parallel to (101).

Project description:The title salt, [P(NHCH(2)C(6)H(5))(4)](+)·Cl(-), crystallizes with the P atom and Cl(-) anion lying on a twofold rotation axis. The P atom has a slightly distorted tetra-hedral geometry with two classes of N-P-N angles [101.15 (10) and 100.55 (11)° and 113.07 (9) and 114.83 (8)°] and the environments of sp(2)-hybridized N atoms are essentially planar (sum of angles = 359.9 and 360.1°). In the crystal, the phospho-nium ion inter-acts with each neighboring chloride ion via two approximately equal N-H⋯Cl inter-actions, forming parallel chains along the c axis.

Each five-coordinate Sn atom shows trans-C(3)SnO(2) trigonal bipyramidal coordination. The four Sn-O distances are approximately equal in the two independent anions. Each ammonium cation serves as a hydrogen-bond donor to two stannates, the hydrogen-bonding inter-actions giving rise to linear hydrogen-bonded chains.

Project description:In the title compound, (C(12)H(24)N)[Sn(CH(3))(3)(C(6)H(6)O(3)P)(2)], the SnMe(3) residues are axially coordinated by two monodentate [PhPO(3)H](-) anions, leading to a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry for the Sn(IV) atom. The two [SnMe(3)(PhPO(3)H)(2)](-) anions in the unit cell are associated into infinite chains along the a axis by O-H?O hydrogen bonds involving the hy-droxy group of the hydrogen phenyl-phospho-nate ion. The chains inter-act with one another via O-H?O hydrogen bonds along the c axis. These networks of anions assemble with the dicyclo-hexyl-ammonium ion through N-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
