{[1-(2-Amino-ethyl-amino)-1-methyl-ethyl]phospho-nato-?N,N',O}chloridopalladium(II) monohydrate.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Pd(C(5)H(14)N(2)O(3)P)Cl]·H(2)O, the Pd(II) atom shows a slightly distorted square-planar geometry and forms two five-membered metallacycles, which both exhibit half-chair conformations. The crystal structure consists of layers propogating in the [100] direction which are connected into a three-dimensional network by strong N-H?Cl, N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonds.

Project description:In the title Zn(II) complex, [Zn(C(8)H(8)NO(2))(2)(C(6)H(6)N(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O, the Zn atom is coordinated by two 4-methyl-amino-benzoate (MAB) and two isonicotinamide (INA) ligands in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry; one of the MAB ions acts as a bidentate ligand while the other MAB and the two INA are monodentate ligands. The dihedral angles between the carboxyl groups and the adjacent benzene rings are 8.52 (22) and 5.10 (14)°. In the crystal, inter-molecular O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding links the mol-ecules into a supra-molecular structure. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions are also present.

Project description:In the title hydrated molecular salt, C22H25N2 (+)·C6H4FO3S(-)·H2O, the cation displays whole mol-ecule disorder over two sets of sites in a 0.780?(5):0.220?(5) ratio. The quinolinium ring system is essentially planar, with r.m.s. deviations of 0.0162 and 0.0381?Å for the major and minor disorder components, respectively. The dihedral angles between the mean plane of the quinolinium ring system and the benzene ring are 5.1?(3) and 7.7?(11)°, respectively, for the major and minor components in the cation. In the crystal, cations, anions and water mol-ecules are linked into chains along [010] by O-H?O hydrogen bonds and are further connected into a three-dimensional network by weak C-H?O and C-H?F inter-actions. In addition, ?-? inter-actions with centroid-centroid distances of 3.634?(3), 3.702?(5) and 3.838?(5)?Å are observed.

Project description:The Hg(II) atoms in the crystal structure of the title compound, (C(2)H(10)N(2))[HgBr(4)]·H(2)O, are tetra-hedrally coordinated by four Br atoms and the resulting [HgBr(4)](2-) ions are inter-connected to the [NH(3)-CH(2)-CH(2)-NH(3)](2+) ions and water mol-ecules by N-H⋯Br and O-H⋯Br bonds, forming a three-dimensional network. N-H⋯O inter-actions are also present. The observed three different Hg-Br distances of 2.5597 (6), 2.6862 (8) and 2.6923 (8) Å in the tetra-bromo-mercurate unit are due to the connection of Br atoms to different numbers of H atoms. The Hg, O and two Br atoms are located on a crystallographic mirror plane. The cation has symmetry with the center of the C-C bond lying on a crystallographic center of inversion.
